The Blessing of Memorization

Before Bible Quiz began, I spent the majority of my free time watching sports programs, soccer, because I have always really liked that.
One day, the Lord showed me that I was wasting too much time, and He spoke to my heart.
It was in that moment that I told God:
"Well Lord, I want to dedicate to You the time that I spend watching games and those things that will not edify me."
I asked God to pour out His grace in my life to do so. This has really changed my life, how I spend my free moments memorizing—it’s like a need that God has placed in my life.
