Ministerial Board

The Ministerial Board is made up of mature ministers who come from different countries and various denominational backgrounds. They meet regularly to preside over the activities and doctrine of Hebron Ministries.

The average age of its members is over 60 years, and some of them have been in the ministry for over 50 years. Although a person does not become spiritually mature in the eyes of the Lord simply by living for many years, God does honor older people who have chosen to walk in His ways.

That is why Hebron Ministries feels blessed to have spiritual elders whose maturity gives stability and supervision to this ministry.

"The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.”

— Proverbs 16:31 (NKJV)

One of the goals of Hebron Ministries is to be an influence in the Body of Christ that brings greater unity among ministers of various Christian denominations. For this reason, we have avoided becoming another denomination, so that we do not raise up more walls that continue to divide the Church. The fellowship of churches that walk under the covering of Hebron Ministries does not function as a denomination, because it is definitely not one.

Hebron Ministries emphasizes the importance of being an organism and not an organization. The Ministerial Body and the fellowship of churches function in the same way a cell does. The nucleus helps the rest of the parts that form it, so that the cell grows and thrives. Meanwhile, the other parts do the same with the nucleus. In Hebron Ministries, the Ministerial Board functions as a nucleus that serves the churches. Its members consider themselves to be part of the pastors, they do not consider themselves to be above the pastors.

The Ministerial Board is not the owner of the churches, of their properties, or of their buildings. The bond that links pastors to Hebron Ministries is based on mutual love and respect. This ministry desires to follow the example of the apostle Paul, who encouraged others to be his fellow laborers in the Lord (Philippians 4:3). For this reason, the Ministerial Board seeks to have a relationship with other pastors that is founded on sincere love of the brethren.

Board Members

The members of the Ministerial Board of Hebron Ministries are very aware of the fact that they do not have all the answers. They seek the Lord’s grace to make any change in doctrine or way of operating, when it is necessary, in accordance with the Bible, encouraging all the pastors to help them find the way that the Lord has set forth. Furthermore, they encourage the members of any congregation to show them any error that they might observe in Hebron Ministries, in light of the Scriptures.

Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth about the divine authority that He had received from the Lord (2 Corinthians 10:8–11). The Ministerial Board’s hope is that, in the same manner, any measure of authority with which the leaders of Hebron Ministries are vested, would come from heaven and not from men. The churches and ministries in the fellowship are not kept bound by legal ties or ecclesiastical commitments. Rather, the unity of the Spirit is maintained by mutual love and respect, as demonstrated in the following diagram.
